One person died and six persons were injured in a road accident in the Quimoh area of the Kulgam district in south Kashmir.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that on Saturday afternoon, a collision between two vehicles resulted in injuries severn people near Ziyarat e Shareef of Quimoh in Kulgam.
The injured were referred to the nearby hospital where one of them identified as Mohammed Altaf Mattoo son of Mohammed Ramzan Matoo aged 47, a resident of Laram Ganjipora in Kulgam.
“The other six injured were referred to Quimoh, from where they have been shifted to the Government Medical College of Anantnag,” Block Medical Officer Quimoh, Dr. gowhar told The Kashmiriyat over the phone.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the matter.
