15 Commandos killed as Naxals Trigger IED blast in Maharashtra

In a major attack, At least 15 commandos were killed in an IED blast in the Naxal-affected Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra on Wednesday.

India Today reported that the Naxals triggered an improvised explosive device (IED) to blow up the police vehicle on Wednesday noon on in Gadchiroli when a team of the C-60 commandos, an anti-Naxal unit, was patrolling the area.

The vehicle was carrying 16 security personnel from the Kurkheda Quick Response Team of Gadchiroli police.

Earlier on Wednesday, Naxals allegedly set ablaze 27 machines and vehicles at a road construction site in Kurkheda of Gadchiroli district.buy xifaxan online buy xifaxan no prescription

This is the biggest attack on security forces in the last two years in Maharashtra.
