20-Year-Old Boy from South among 15 People Die of Cardiac Arrest in Kashmir in Last 2 Weeks

Fifteen people have died of cardiac arrest in Kashmir, one among the 15 was a 20-year-old boy from South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Identified as Janib Ahmad Naikoo, S/O Abdul Rashid Naikoo, R/O of Khrewan Chadde area of Kulgam. Janib met a heart attack on Tuesday after which he was rushed to the hospital.

The doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival.

The Cardiologists have advised heart patients not to venture out of the house in the morning and evening as the temperature is declining every day. “Cases of heart attacks may increase in the coming days,” the doctors have warned.

In the last 24 hours, two women have died of a heart attack.

Meanwhile, an official told The Kashmiriyat that on Wednesday, a woman Mubeena (30) died of a heart attack in Sumbal in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district. Dilshada Begum (40), who lives in Nowgam Chowk in district Budgam also suffered a heart attack.

Earlier on January 10, three civilians, including a sarpanch and a private school teacher, died of a heart attack.
