A 20-year-old youth drowned to death in the river Lidder in Pahalgam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that a youth identified as Anees Ahmed Dar son of Gulzar Ahmed Dar, a resident of Srinagar’s Eidgah area slipped and drowned in River Lidder in Pahalgam on Sunday afternoon.
However, before the youth could be helped, he had died of his injuries in the river Lidder.
