2 OGWs Including BSF Man Arrested in North Kashmir

October 04 The Jammu Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have busted a module of Hizbul Mujahideen by arresting two of its members including a Border Security Force (BSF) personal from frontier Kupwara district of north Kashmir. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that that two Hizbul Mujahideen activists including a BSF man were arrested by SOG during a raid at Lolab last night. The arrested persons were identified as Shakir Ahmad Wani son of Mohammed Ramzan Wani and Ghulam Mustafa Sheikh son of Abdul Ahad Sheikh, both residents of Tekipora, Lolab. A case FIR no.77 of 2018 u/s 7/25 Arms act 13 UAPA stands registered in P/S Sogam in this regard. Further investigation into the module is in progress, the statement added.

Girl, her mother raped in Haryana- 7 Policemen among 18 booked

October 04 A 16-year-old girl has alleged that she and her mother were raped by an assistant sub-inspector rank police official in a village here last month following which police booked 18 people, including seven policemen in the case. At least 40 Youth Arrested in Shopian ahead of Polls

October 03 The National Investigation Agency of India (NIA) raided the house of Shakeel Ahmed, a son of Syed Salauddin on Wednesday.
