Al Jazeera office Demolished in Israel Air Strikes

The office of Al Jazeera media has been demolished in the airstrikes of Israel inside the Gaza Strip in Palestine, AL Jazeera claimed. The report claimed that the building crashed to the ground after being bombed as dust and debris flew into the air. It further said that the residents of the building had been warned prior to the attack. The building also houses the office of The Associated Press bureau.

Police have booked three workers from the proscribed Jamat-e-Islami organization under Unlawful Activities Act in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district. Many Covid 19 Deaths in Kashmir go Unreported: DAK

The Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) on Saturday said that official figures of Covid-19 deaths are an underestimate as many deaths due to the virus go unreported in the valley. “The actual number of people dying from Covid is higher than what is reported,” said DAK President and influenza expert Dr Nisar ul Hassan in a statement, “The reported death toll is an undercount and only provides a snapshot of the true toll virus has taken,” he said. Dr Hassan said only those deaths make it to the official count that have been confirmed as Covid-19 through RT-PCR testing. “But the test can miss more than 30 percent of positive cases,” he said. “We see many patients who test negative on RT-PCR test, but show CT features consistent with Covid-19 disease, but they are not reported,” h...

Mubashir Naik Covid 19 has taken the lives of two more doctors in Jammu on Friday. an official informed The Kashmiriyat that two doctors and three teachers were among the latest victims of Covid 19 in Jammu Kashmir. They said that Dr ML Sharma of Karan Bagh Gadigarh and Dr. MK Raina of Trikuta Nagar passed away due to Coronavirus. Dr. ML Sharma passed away in GMC Jammu and Dr. MK Raina at ASCOMS Sidhra. The Jammu Kashmir administration in a major step is likely to notify the rules for SRO 520 and thousands of employees will be regularized across the region. Thousands of need based and casual labourers working in various departments for over a decade felt cheated after the Government failed to regularize their services through the same was announced by then People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) coalition in 2017.
