Al Jazeera office Demolished in Israel Air Strikes

The office of Al Jazeera media has been demolished in the airstrikes of Israel inside the Gaza Strip in Palestine, AL Jazeera claimed. The report claimed that the building crashed to the ground after being bombed as dust and debris flew into the air. It further said that the residents of the building had been warned prior to the attack. The building also houses the office of The Associated Press bureau.

Three Booked Under UAPA in Kulgam for aiding Militants

Police have booked three workers from the proscribed Jamat-e-Islami organization under Unlawful Activities Act in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district. Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that three activists from Jamat-e-Islami were arrested earlier and today they were booked on charges of harbouring, aiding militants and hatching conspiracy. These workers have been identified as Mudasir Hasan Mir a resident of Sallar, Abdul Hayat Alaie of Audoora Kulgam, living at present in Sallar village and Farooq Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Lever village. Many Covid 19 Deaths in Kashmir go Unreported: DAK

The Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) on Saturday said that official figures of Covid-19 deaths are an underestimate as many deaths due to the virus go unreported in the valley. “The actual number of people dying from Covid is higher than what is reported,” said DAK President and influenza expert Dr Nisar ul Hassan in a statement, “The reported death toll is an undercount and only provides a snapshot of the true toll virus has taken,” he said.
