Bhat Yasir At least seven persons were wounded when a passenger Vehicle fell into a deep gorge in  Sadhna Top area in north Kashmir's Kupwara district. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a Tata Sumo vehicle bearing the number JK09 5693 was hit by a snowslide along the Sadhna Pass, causing injuries to seven persons. Immediately after the accident,  a rescue operation was launched in the area to rescue the travelers, after which they were shifted to Sub District hospital Tanghdar for treatment. The  Jammu-Srinagar highway, the only surface link connecting Kashmir Valley with the outside world, has been closed amid continuous shooting stones near the Mehar area in Ramban, officials said on Monday. “Due to continuous shooting stones at Mehar Ramban, the highway has been closed. Some 1000 Jammu bound trucks are stranded between Ramban and Banihal,” a senior traffic department officer told GNS. Meanwhile, Mughal Road, connecting Shopian with Poonch and Rajouri districts, remained closed for vehicular movement in view of snow accumulation at Peer Ki Gali.
