The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since yesterday has risen to 256 Palestinians, with 1,788 injured, and with extensive damage to residential buildings, apartments, civilian properties and infrastructure, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

Citing medical sources, WAFA correspondent said 24 Palestinians were killed early this morning, with dozens more injured, in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting inhabited homes and residential buildings across the besieged Gaza Strip.

At least 14 civilians, including women and children, were killed in one of the barbarian Israeli airstrikes which targeted the Abu Amsha family’s home in the town of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli warplanes also destroyed homes, reducing them to rubble, in several cities across the Gaza Strip, from Rafah in the south to Beit Hanoun in the north. The airstrikes have caused extensive damage to infrastructure in all the areas targeted, including hospitals, schools, and public and private institutions.

The Israeli aggression against Gaza continues for the second consecutive day, claiming more lives and causing casualties among innocent civilians, while also leaving a trail of destruction in their homes and properties as well as public institutions.(WAFA)
