Three army troopers have been injured in the ongoing Kulgam encounter on Friday afternoon
An official told The Kashmiriyat that three army men who were injured during the ongoing encounter have been evacuated to the hospital through a chopper.
They are being taken to the Army’s 92 base hospital for treatment, he said.
Earlier, on Friday, a joint team of RR of Indian Army, Police and CRPF following a specific information about the presence of militants in the Halan Manzgam area.
The official said that, as the joint team of forces progressed towards the suspected identified spot, the hiding militants fired upon them which was retaliated triggering an encounter.
One to two militants are believed to be trapped in the area.
