The Jammu Kashmir police on Sunday claimed to have arrested three drug peddlers from Pulwama district of South Kashmir and recovered five Kilograms of grinded cannabis’ powder from their possession.
In a statement, the Jammu Kashmir Police said, Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers and its propagators, Awantipora Police arrested three drug peddlers from the Pampore area.
The police spokesperson said that during vehicular checking at naka Frestabal Pampore near Char Yar Masjid Shareef, Police party of Police Station Pampore arrested three drug peddlers.
“They have been identified as Khalil Ahmad Choudhary R/O Rajouri, Hassan Mohammed Bajran R/O Rajouri Bagla,and Abdul Gani Mir, R/O Frestabal Pampore,” he said.
” The arrested persons were traveling in a vehicle Ertiga which was signaled to stop and during thorough search 05 Kgs of grinded cannabis was recovered from the possession of the persons boarding in the vehicle. Vehicle Ertiga bearing registration number JK13C-3044 used in the commission of the said crime has also been seized.”
Case FIR Number 10/2022 under relevant sections of NDPS stands registered at Police Station Pampore.
