After the reports of three soldiers being killed, in a face-off between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Galwan valley, the reports say that thirty-four Indian soldiers are also missing – believed to either be dead or captured.

The report by Telegraph quoted the Army as saying, the soldiers have been missing since the “violent face-off” an Indian officer and two army men were killed.

The Government has said nothing in this regard.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, Zhao Lijian, said, “India troops crossed the border line twice on Monday provoking and attacking Chinese personnel resulting in serious physical confrontation between border forces on the two sides.”

“Indian troops on Monday seriously violated the consensus of the two sides by illegally crossing the border twice and carrying out provocative attacks on Chinese soldiers, resulting in serious physical clashes,” Global Times quoted FM saying.
