
On Monday, in Jharkhand, a 45 -year-old woman was found buried on the bank of a river in Pakur District. The body of the woman was chopped in pieces.
The body was identified as Sona Marandi by the police.
The woman was missing since February 24, and was recovered from the bank of Bansloi river near Rangatola, the area comes under Amrapara police station.
The in charge of the police station, Manoj Kumar said that the villagers had informed the police after they noticed a severed leg on the bank of a river.
Then the police diged the spot, after digging for three hours, they recovered the woman’s severed head, torso, hands and legs.
Manoj Hansda of Bhatikandar village, identified the body as of his mother Sona Hansda.
He said that he filed a missing report on March 3 after his mother went missing on February 24.
The police said that the body parts have been sent for post-mortem and investigations has started.
