60 Youth have Gone Missing in Kashmir Amid Taliban Takeover in Afghanistan: Report

At least sixty youth have gone missing from different parts of the Kashmir valley for the past two months amid the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan.

A report by NDTV, quoting Government Forces, said that 25 to 30 Militants from 6 Militant organizations have infiltrated into Kashmir.

At the same time, the disappearance of 60 youth has also become a matter of concern for the Government Forces.

According a report by NDTV, a senior official said, “Incidents of attacks on forces or BJP politicians have been reported almost every day during the last one month.”

Around 60 youths have gone missing from their homes during the last two months  according to the report.

Inspector General of Jammu Kashmir Police for Kashmir Range, Vijay Kumar as per the report said that the disappearance of the youth of the valley remains a worrying trend.

He said, “The youth who came out saying that they had to go out for some important work did not return.”

He appealed the youth to leave Militancy and return to the mainstream.
