Ashraf denied visiting the location and provide report, Shabir said.

“When I asked the V.L.W the reason that he did not provide the report, he responded that I needed to submit a bank statement. I did not deserve the shed as per bank balance,” Shabir told The Kashmiriyat.

He concluded, “Now, I appeal to the district administration, to look into the matter and take strict action against VLW who did not provide actual data to concerned BDO.” He also appealed the authorities to intervene to resolve the problem at an earliest.

In this regard, the Village Level Worker, Farooq Ahmad Mir said thay he had submitted the report in favour of beneficiary. He also added that once the geo tag website is restored, the first preference should be in favour of the beneficiary.

Meanwhile, The Kashmiriyat also contacted the concerned Sarpanch, Mohd. Ashraf, who refuted all the allegations and declared them baseless. He said that if he was proved guilty, he would be ready for punishment. Otherwise, the Sarpanch said, “I will take action against beneficiary as per relevant law.”
