In an attempt to decimate every plot of Militants in Jammu Kashmir, the army said more than 100 Militants were killed this year during various anti terror operations.
For the past several days, the army engaged in joint operations with the police against the Militants in the Kashmir Valley has killed a total of 102 Militants in the first 150 days of this year. This month alone, the army has killed over 20 militants in separate encounters.
In their media briefing after the end of two major anti-Militancy operations in Shopian and Pulwama districts of Jammu Kashmir on Friday, GOC BS Raju and DGP Dilbag Singh of Jammu Kashmir Police have informed about these operations in their media briefing.
Corps Commander BS Raju said that this year the army has put a total of 102 terMilitants to an end in 150 days.
Peace has been restored in the Valley in the last few months and it is our endeavor to make the situation more normal in the coming times, the GOC of Indian Army said.
In the anti-Militancy operation, launched in Pulwama on Thursday, care was also taken not to allow any damage to the mosque in any way, The GOC said.
