The Fire and Emergency Service recruitment aspirants of the Kashmir valley staged a protest demanding recruitment for vacancies in the department since 2013.
Numbers of Fire Service aspirants on Tuesday gathered in the Press Enclave area of Srinagar in context of the Petition lodged by them to Central Administration Tribunal (CAT) regarding commissioning of candidates to 800 vacancies in the department since 2013.
An aspirant Ittihad Ahmed from Ganderbal district said, “We appeal to the authorities to start recruiting petitioners to the pending vacancies as per the CATs direction. We have been suffering since 2013 and now through media and press we are appealing the LG led administration to intervene in the matter and start the proceedings on a fast track so that we get employment as soon as possible”
