The Indian Army on Sunday organized a medical camp at Khundru in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district.
In a press release issued to The Kashmiriyat, the Army said that in an endeavor to reach out to people from far flung remote areas and provide basic medical care and advise to the most underprivileged strata of the society 127 Lt AD Regt (Comp) under aegis of 619 (l) AD Bde conducted a Medical Camp in Khundru area on Sunday.
They said, Doctors from PHC, Achabal and Medical Officer worked shoulder to shoulder for the benefit of needy civil populace.
Lady Doctor specially saw women at the medical camp.
The camp was inaugurated by Brigadier Amit Rao, Cdr, 619 (l) AD BDE who also interacted with the locals to strengthen goodwill between the Army and Locals.
The local population of the area expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Sadbhavana for this noble initiative and the people friendly operations.
