Not more than a week after his family pleaded, asking their son to return home, a youth from south Kashmir has picked up arms and posed with an AK-47 rifle to announce joining militant ranks.
The family of Asif Ahmad Ganie of Chitragam area in Shopian speaking to The Kashmiriyat had said that he had gone missing after he went out with his friends for a picnic.
The family has started looking for him everywhere after he went missing, they had told The Kashmiriyat.
Today, his photo surfaced on social media in which he is seen brandishing an AK-47 rifle, with a message that he has joined the militant outfit, Al- Badar on July 25, 2020.
