One woman and her son died under mysterious circumstances in the Soaf Shali area of Kokernag in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that a woman identified as Ishrat aged 23, wife of Shabir Ahmed Najar and her son Musaib were found unconscious inside their house.
The mother- son duo were shifted to the Sub District Hospital in Kokernag for treatment.
However upon their arrival at the Sub District hospital, the duo were declared brought dead up arrival.
The cause of death, as per initial reports, seems to be suffocation.
