SIU carries out searches of various houses in Kupwara

State Investigation Unit (SIU) of police on Thursday carried out searches at various locations in frontier North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said.

They told GNS that sleuths alongside Naib Tehsildar reached Mirnag in Manzhar area and conducted searches of a house.

Similarly the team alongside DySP DAR Kupwara reached Kanibakh Batpora and conducted searches at another house.

The team also raided a residential house at Salkoot Kupwara, in presence of Naib Tehsildar Kupwara and DO PP Bazaar Kupwara.

The team alongside SHO Kralpora raided a house at Babapora. The officials said that further details would be shared later. (GNS)
