RTI reply to application filed by a doctor reveals area has post office in Zewan area.
After almost seven decades, people of Achanambal, Zafran Colony, Pantha Chowk, Srinagar managed to locate their post office after almost seven decades on Saturday.
Normally, as per the locals of Achanambal, Zafran Colony, their letters and parcels would normally reach Pampore area despite the fact that the area falls in Srinagar jurisdiction. After hectic efforts by Dr Abdul Qayoom Machloo, whose letters and parcels got misplaced several times forcing him to move from pillar to post, the people of Achanambal heaved a sigh of relief. After being repeatedly told at Pantha Chowk post office that his letter, parcels and his daughter’s study material could have landed in Pampore post office, Dr Qayoom was left with no choice other than to file an RTI. The RTI reply brought a smile on the face of not just Dr Qayoom but hundreds of people living in Achanambal, Zafran Colony, Srinagar as they were living under the impression that their post office was in Pampore.
The RTI reply, a copy of which lies with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), reads that Zewan Bran Post office 191101 under Pantha Chowk SO provides postal facilities to Achanambal, zafran Colony and Neloofar Jan is working as Branch Postmaster at Zewan BO.
“I was glad to know that finally we were able to locate our post office after almost seven decades,” said a visibly happy Dr Qayoom. “Now my documents won’t reach the Pampore post office.buy viagra super dulox force online https://www.ecladent.co.uk/wp-content/themes/twentysixteen/inc/new/viagra-super-dulox-force.html no prescription ”
