The administration at District Hospital of Anantnag has decided to deal sternly with doctors indulging in private practice.
“Those doctors who will be caught absent during working hours will be suspended and strict action will be taken against GMC Doctors indulging in private practice,” Principal Government Medical College Anantnag Showkat Jeelani said.
He said that acting on Government directive action will be initiated against the Government doctors if found indulging in private practice.
The GMC principal also emphasized the need of maintaining physical distancing norms and asked people to follow all covid related guidelines. “Wearing masks properly, using hand washes, maintaining physical distancing is important to do away with the second wave of covid 19,” he said.
“Vaccination is very important, even the diabetic should go for vaccination, the health department is reaching nooks and corners to ensure vaccination reaches all, people should not shy away from getting vaccinated,” Mr. Jeelani said.
