Active Covid cases in Jammu Kashmir rise to 716, Airports, Railway stations yet to start testing

85 new Covid cases, including a traveller, were found in Jammu Kashmir during the last 24 hours. Jammu district has a maximum of 216 active cases in the region. Critical patients are also being admitted to hospitals.

The number of active cases in Jammu Kashmir has increased to 716. Only seven patients recovered in Jammu on Saturday. All 20 districts of the state are affected by Covid.

11 cases have been found in Poonch and Reasi. 9 infected cases have been found in Srinagar, 6 in Baramulla, 4 in Budgam, 8 in Pulwama, 13 in Anantnag, 8 in Bandipora and 1 in Kulgam, 8 infected cases have been found in Bandipora and 1 in Kulgam.

With the increase in Covid testing in the state, there has been an increase in infected cases.

At present, COVID testing of passengers has not been started at the airport and Jammu railway station.
