The Jammu Kashmir administration Saturday appointed nodal officers in all districts of the region for the “successful” implementation of “Har Ghar Tiranga”.
In an official order issued by JK admin, of which a copy is available with The Kashmiriyat, the admin said, “Sanction is hereby accorded to the nomination of Assistant Commissioner Development concerned of Kashmir Division as Nodal Officers in respect of their Districts for successful implementation of the initiative “Har Ghar Trianga” in the UT Jammu and Kashmir.”
Earlier Jammu Kashmir admin had said, “To instill patriotic fervour among citizenry this Independence Day, the culture and tourism ministry will launch ‘Har Ghar Jhanda’ campaign under which people will be exhorted to hoist the national flag over their houses on August 15.”
The admin stated that the initiative will be part of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), celebration and commemoration of 75 years of India’s independence.
