India’s Intelligence Bureau has issued a strict alert to Delhi Police about the strong possibility of attack on 15th August, India Today reported.
A 10-page report by the IB says there is a threat from LeT, JeM and other radical groups who might attack the red fort in New Delhi on august 15 with the help of ISI.
It has directed Delhi Police to put in place strict entry rules at Red Fort ahead of Independence Day on August 15.
The report mentions an attack on former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, and incidents in Udaipur and Amravati.
IB has instructed Delhi Police to remain alert. Delhi Police has been asked to enforce strict entry rules at the venue on August 15.
