All Districts of Kashmir Except One Categorized as Red Zone

All districts of the Kashmir valley except in the view of the ongoing global pandemic have been categorised as red zones to control the spread of Covid19.

The orders issued by the chairman of the state executive committee for disaster management, B. V. R.Subrahmanyan said that all districts of Kashmir division except Bandipora have been categorized as red zones.

The rest of the nine districts categorized as red zones in Kashmir include Srinagar, Budgam, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam, Anantnag, Kupwara and Baramulla.

In the Jammu division, Only Ramban district continues to remain in the list of red zone districts.

All educational institutes, Religious spots, swimming pools and other places of congregation shall remain closed till further orders.

A total of 119 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in Jammu Kashmir so far, while the number of positive cases has surpassed 8000.
