The Pentagon has said that American forces stationed in Iraq and Syria were subjected to 55 attacks within a month, which led to dozens of American soldiers being slightly injured.

American media quoted Sabrina Singh, deputy spokeswoman for the Pentagon, as saying “Since October 17 until today, we have monitored 55 attacks on American forces.”

She added “27 attacks occurred on American forces in Iraq, and 28 attacks in Syria,” noting that 59 Americans were injured.

The increase in attacks on American forces comes in solidarity with Gaza in the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, and in response to the ongoing violent Zionist-American aggression on the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the death of more than 11,320 people.

The enemy’s crimes and massacres against civilians spark widespread anger in the Middle East and have given impetus to the targeting of American bases by resistance factions in the region.

About 2,500 American soldiers are stationed in Iraq, and about 900 soldiers are stationed in Syria.

Earlier yesterday, Tuesday, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced the targeting of the American occupation base in Koniko oil field in Syria, in response to the crimes of the Zionist enemy in Gaza.

On Monday, the American base at Kharab al-Jir airport in Hasakah countryside was targeted by a drone, and several explosions were heard inside the American Omar oil field base in Deir ez-Zor countryside, eastern Syria.
