The constituents of the INDIA bloc have thanked the people of India for the overwhelming support received by their alliance.

They said that  the mandate is people’s stand against “increasing fascism and the erosion of the Constitution.”

When asked about holding talks with Chandrababu Naidu, Nitish Kumar, and others, CPI General Secretary D Raja responded, “Who said? I don’t know who is talking about all this.”

Regarding the INDIA alliance meeting, D Raja stated, “We discussed the current situation. Kharge ji read out the statement adopted in the meeting. Mallikarjun Kharge is the Chairperson of the INDIA bloc.”

He said that the alliance believes the results are a decisive rejection of the BJP’s politics of hate and corruption.

According to the INDIA bloc, “this is a mandate to defend the Constitution, combat price rises, unemployment, and crony capitalism, and to save democracy.”

Post their meeting at Congress Chief, Malikarjun Kharge’s residence in Delhi, they vowed to continue their fight against what they describe as the fascist rule of the BJP led by Modi.
