Massive security arrangements have been made in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district ahead of Amit Shah’s October 05th rally in the north Kashmir district.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the towns of Sopore and Baramulla witnessed a massive jam as multiple checkings have been installed at various spots in the north Kashmir towns.
“We are stuck in traffic for the last two hours and are barely moving. There is a massive jam at Sopore Bypass, Iqbal Nagar, Mundi road, and everywhere else at Sopore,” the locals said.
Meanwhile, the traffic Police has issued an advisory for the traffic in view of Home Minister Amit Shah’s rally.
An order issued by the SSP traffic rural Kashmir read, “In view of public rally at Showkat Ali Stadium Baramulla on 5th of October-2022, motorists who are intending to travel from Srinagar-Baramula-Uri and vice-versa are advised to adopt following routes to reach their destinations on said date.”
