A school bus met with an accident near Dubjan Bridge on Shopian’s Mughal road on Wednesday evening resulting in critical injuries to three including a teacher.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that a bus from Smart mission High school in Ganjipora Anantnag rolled down from Dubjan Bridge in Shopian almost 8 feet down from the road on Wednesday evening, causing injuries to thirteen persons, three out of them critically.
Meanwhile, a Special team from 15 Garhwal Rifles reached the spot with their medical members and other basic first aid treatment.
The students were later evacuated from the accidental bus and shifted to DH Hospital Shopian for advanced treatment.
Three persons identified as Farhan Fayaz son, a resident of Ganjipora (forehead injury) and Rabid Reyaz Bhat, resident of Manigam (head injury) and a teacher Tanveer Ahmad were shifted to SMHS Srinagar for treatment.
