Another boost to Congress as former PDP spokesperson joins party

The former chief spokesperson of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Suhail Bukhari, has joined the Indian National Congress.

Bukhari’s joining will give a major boost to Congress in Kreeri-Wagoora Constituency of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

This move comes after Bukhari’s resignation from PDP, which drew attention due to his significant role in shaping the party’s public narrative and media relations.

His decision to join Congress is perceived as a strategic realignment, which could have a bearing on the party’s outreach and strategy in Jammu Kashmir.

It’s pertinent to mention here that a day before prominent rights activist Irfan Hafiz Lone joined Congress.
