Amid an intermittent exchange of gunfire, the Government forces on Saturday night called reinforcements to the encounter site in Anantnag’s Roi Kalan area of Bijbehara.

He said that the trapped militant was given a chance to surrender, however, he refused the offer.
Locals meanwhile told The Kashmiriyat that an intermittent exchange of gunfire is going on and search lights have been installed at the site of the encounter.
