With the covid fear yet to be far from being over, A new disease Bird flu has sent a storm among the people of Jammu Kashmir.
Panic has gripped across Jammu Kashmir on Thursday, as More than 100 birds were found dead in Rajouri, Kathua and Udhampur district from Wednesday evening to Thursday evening.
The Administration has picked up the samples and burnt birds at far off locations.
Joint teams of Wildlife and Animal Husbandry Departments have been constituted in all the districts and are closely monitoring the situation.
Menawhile, the Principal Secretary Animal and Sheep Husbandry department Navin Choudhary has ordered a ban on import of Poultry products into J&K.
