On Monday, the opposition BJP disrupted proceedings in the Jharkhand Assembly after they protested over allotment of a room for offering Namaz.
As per a report by the PTI, BJP MLAs sat on the stairs at the entrance of the assembly before the session for the day began, chanting Hanuman Chalisa and ‘Hare Rama’ with placards.
And as soon as the proceedings for the day began at the Assembly, the BJP members marched in chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram.’
The BJP members demanded to look back at the order pertaining to the allotment of the namaz room.
The Speaker of the Jharkhand Assembly, Ravindra Nath Mahto, urged these members to go back to their seats. “You are good members. Please cooperate with the Chair,” he appealed.

Earlier, on Sunday, the BJP workers had burnt the effigies of Chief Minister Hemant Soren and the speaker in the protests against the decision.
