Questioning the slience of Narendra Modi, the former chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir and Vice president of National Conference, Omar Abdullah asked why Modi was silent on Kashmiri students being harassed in various parts of India.

He said, “Initially we thought that these (attackers) were some miscreants or unruly elements, But from the last couple of days it seems that the ruling party was not just allowing but also supporting these elements.”
He also thanked the Sikh community who opened their homes and gurdwaras for Kashmiris.
