
Two days after a BJP leader was killed in southern district, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Noorabad Kulgam constituency incharge on Thursday resigned from the basic membership of the party.
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Mubarak Ahmad Bhat, a constituency incharge while announcing his resignation from the party said that he has nothing to do with BJP from now onwards.
“I hereby resign from the party. I request people to forgive me, if my actions have hurt them in the past,” Bhat said.
“I have small kids, I have no concern or affiliation to any political party especially to BJP in future,” he said—(KNO)
