CASO Launched in Native of Riyaz Naikoo

The Government Forces on Friday evening launched Cordon and Search operation (CASO) in Beghpora area of Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a search operation has been launched by 55 Rahstriya Rifles, Jammu Kashmir Police and  CRPF jointly in Beighpora area.

Following specific inputs about Militant movement, All the entry and exit points of the area have been sealed on Thursday.

A door to door search operation has begun, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.

Beighpora, pertinently is the native of Hizb ul Mujahideen commander, Riyaz Naikoo.

Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched as an Anti Militancy operation on May 2, 2017 amid a rise in the local recruitment into Militant groups in the Kashmir valley.

The Forces jointly conduct search operations in a specific area, locking down the area virtually and frisk houses on will.
