Youth from Village Without Internet Services in Kulgam Secures Second Rank in IES 2020

A youth from Kulgam has secured the second rank in the Indian Economic Service (IES) 2020. He has become the first resident of Jammu Kashmir to achieve this feat. Tanveer Ahmed Khan, 22, from the Naginpora Kund in the Kulgam district, has achieved this position in his first attempt. Tanveer received basic education from Government School and then went to Government Degree College in Anantnag to complete his graduation. After this he did his post graduation in the field of economics from Kashmir University. He recently completed his M.Phil degree in Development Studies in Kolkata. Arifa Bilal, from Ganderbal in Jammu and Kashmir is the first female who has won a gold medal in powerlifting. Back in her village, she is known as the iron lady in her village. Arifa is a black belt in belt martial arts too. Arifa, is currently a gym trainer and has won multiple state and national gold medalist in martial arts.
