Residents demand scheduled water supply to the Area

The residents of the Chenigund area of Dooru in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district staged a protest against the alleged failure of the Public Health Engineering (Jal Shakti) department in providing drinking water to the village.
Protestors said that they have brought the matter to the notice of the authorities concerned every now and then, but nothing has been done to restore the water supply in the area.
Locals of the area appealed to the higher authorities, the District administration, and the concerned department for redressal of the grievance soon.
