A 42-year-old resident of Dhara, Tehsil Mandi in Poonch district, tragically lost his life along with his wife and son in a major accident in Saudi Arabia.
Three children were also injured in the incident.
The deceased, identified as Engineer Saleem Mir, son of retired ZEO Mir Mohammad, had been working as an Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) in a private company and had been living in Jeddah for the past 8-10 years.
On October 24, while traveling from Jeddah to Madina with his wife, daughter, and three sons, their vehicle met with a tragic accident on the Makkah-Madina highway near Khulais.
According to relatives, Saleem Mir, his wife Iram, and their son Hasnain died in the accident.
His daughter and two other sons were injured and are currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Saudi Arabia.
Family members from Poonch are on their way to Saudi Arabia. The entire village and district are in mourning over this tragic loss.
