Covid 19- Common People to be Vaccinated from March in Jammu Kashmir

Common people will be vaccinated with Covid vaccination from March in Jammu Kashmir.

The target is to give the first dose of covid to the medical personnel registered on the covid app by 25 February in Jammu Kashmir, Similarly, the field care level workers will be given a dose till March 6, This includes police, administrative staff and officers.

Preparations are being made to provide vaccine to the beneficiaries in the general population from the second or third week of March in Jammu Kashmir, It will include people over the age of 50 years.

Meanwhile, the highest ever dose of vaccine was given to 11000 employees in the region on Monday. So far 8500 personnel have been given the first dose of vaccine in the Health Department in District Jammu.

Covid vaccine campaign is being run at the existing 260 centers in the region. In this, the number of centers is being increased in a phased manner.

In the last 24 hours, no infected cases of Covid-19 were found in 12 districts of Jammu and Kashmir. It consists of 9 districts of the Jammu division. Only 7 active cases remain in the seven districts of the division. Meanwhile, 43 new infected cases were found in the state, of which 36 cases are from the Kashmir division. There have been no deaths from covid in the last 24 hours.
