Curfew was imposed in Kishtwar town on Tuesday following a suspected Militant attack on a Rashtriya Swayamasevak Sangh (RSS) leader that left him wounded and his security guard dead.
An official said that curfew has been imposed following the attack to avoid any untoward incident. “The restrictions have been imposed as a precautionary measure to maintain law and order in wake of the attack,” an official said.
Army has also been called in prevent any law and order situation.
He said mobile Internet service was snapped in Doda and Kishtwar districts to prevent spreading of rumours.
Earlier, an RSS leader sustained critical injuries while his security guard was killed after suspected Militant attacked them in Jammu Kashmir’s Kishtwar district.
Reports said that gunmen opened fire on RSS leader identified as Chandrakant Singh and his security personnel outside district hospital Kishtwar.buy zovirax online buy zovirax generic
Singh, he said, was critically injured in the attack while his security guard died.
