A youth from Anantnag town passed away at Srinagar Hospital on Wednesday morning.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a youth identified as Umer Ismail, a resident of the Shirpora area in Anantnag town passed away after suffering a brain hemorrhage a few days ago.
The 36-year-old was shifted to Srinagar where he has been treated since then, they said.
However, on Wednesday morning, Umer breathed his last at the hospital after which his dead body was handed over to his legal heirs.
Amid grief, Hundreds of people, locals said, gathered at his native to offer his funeral prayers.
