Days after the video of Mufti Islah, a senior journalist went viral on Social media, The Wildlife Department has captured the leopard sighted in Bagh e Mehtab area of the summer capital of Jammu Kashmir- Srinagar.

The officials of the wildlife department have said that the team that has been “on their-toes” since December 29 has been able to capture the animal from an abandoned house in the same locality.
The Department had issued an advisory asking the locals to not venture out as a leopard had been sighted in the Bagh e Mehtab area, which caused panic among the locals of the area.
