The Jammu Kashmir Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a drug peddler in Awantipora area of South Kashmir.
A police official told The Kashmiriyat that a police party of Police Post Reshipora headed by DO Reshipora Abdul Rehman intercepted a person during checking.
During naka checking at Panzgam, 72 bottles of Codeine phosphate were recovered from a bag, which he was carrying.
He has been identified as Bilal Ahmad Dar a resident of Dogripora in Pulwama.
Case registered, investigation taken up.
