A fierce gunfight has started between militants and government forces in the Ganopora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
An Official told The Kashmiriyat that on Friday afternoon a joint team of police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Ganowpora
As the forces inched closer towards the suspected spot, the militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
