After Israel killed another Palestinian child on Friday, the European Union on Saturday said it’s “shocked,” and that the “death should be investigated and results be announced as soon as possible.”

“Shocked by yet another killing of a child by the ISF. 15-year-old Palestinian boy Mohammad Daddas died yesterday near Nablus as a result of the continued disproportionate use of lethal force by Israeli security forces,” the European Union Delegation to the Palestinians tweeted on Saturday.

The EU added that the child’s death “should be investigated and results be announced as soon as possible to prevent such incidents from reoccurring. Under international law, children must be protected and the ISF has to respect the code of conduct established in occupied territory.”

On Friday, 15-year-old Mohammad Da’das was shot dead by Israeli forces during clashes in the village of Deir al-Hatab in the occupied West Bank.

Da’das from Nablus, arrived at hospital with a stopped heart and a bullet in his abdomen, and the medical crews tried to perform resuscitation for him to save his life but it did not work, Quds News Network reported.
