Father approaches FFRC after GD Goenka School Lal Bazar didn’t allow his ward to participate in examination

Committee for Fixation and Regulation of Fee of Private Schools of J&K, (FFRC) has directed the Principal GD Goenka School located in Lal Bazar area of Srinagar city to submit record for regulating fee structure within a day. The Committee has also said that it will consider, and pass appropriate orders about all such schools who have not submitted files for regulation of fee within the notified time.

Chairperson Committee for Fixation and Regulation of Fee of Private Schools of J&K, (FFRC) Justice Muzaffar Hussain Athar as per news agency Kashmir News Trust passed this order after a complainant Shabir Ahmad Baba whose ward Mohammad Shuja Baba studies in G. D Goenka School, Lal Bazar complained that school management is not allowing his ward to participate in the examination and is not providing roll number slip/admit card.

FFRC has stated that office report shows that GD Goenka school management has not submitted file/record for regulating fee structure.

FFRC has ordered school management not make any hike in any type of fee and not charge and collect annual fee from students till further orders.

It has further ordered the school management to take all steps for facilitating taking of examination of ward of complainant and submit compliance report within one day”. (KNT)
