Police on Thursday said that the minor boy who was murdered in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal was a case of “revenge killing”.

Minor Faisal Misgar, son of Ghulam Hussain Misgar of Busarbugh Alestang had gone missing from his home on Sep 17.
His body was found a day later in an orchard, SSP Ganderbal said that the killer of Faisal has been arrested.
“Abrar Majid Reshi 21, neighbor of the Misgar’s family has been arrested in this case and he has confessed to the crime,” the SSP said.
Reshi according to SSP had proposed to the Misgar’s family that he intended to marry their daughter but the proposal was rejected by her father.
Faisal’s sister was married only three days prior to his death.
