Films should be made on massacre of Muslims too: Madhya Pradesh IAS officer

In the middle of a debate on Kashmir files, an IAS officer from Madhya Pradesh has urged that the filmmakers make a film about the plight of Muslims in the country.

IAS officer Niyaz Khan, who acknowledged that The Kashmir Files exposes the sorrow and suffering of Kashmiri Hindus who were forced out of their homes, added that the atrocities that Muslims face should also be shown on the big screen.

“Kashmir Files shows the pain of Brahmins. They should be allowed to live safely in Kashmir with all honor. The producer must also make a movie to show the killings of a large number of Muslims across several states. Muslims are not insects but human beings and citizens of the country,” Niyaz Khan said in a tweet.

Khan holds the post of deputy secretary in the Madhya Pradesh Public Works Department.

In another tweet, Khan said he is considering penning his eighth novel on the “massacre of Muslims”, which could serve as the source material for a movie on the subject.

“Thinking to write a book to show the massacre of Muslims on different occasions so that a movie like Kashmir Files could be produced by some producer, so that, the pain and suffering of minorities could be brought before Indians,” he said.
